F.A.Q.S. - Frequently Asked Questions!!!
Question: I hear that leaders are suppose to fill out some type of reports at the end of the year? What are these reports and where can I find them? Answer: The reports are the Year End Finance Report, and the Troop Account Records. Both are found in your resource guide. All Troops must complete a finance report and a troop account record YEARLY! These forms should be turned in to the Service Unit Treasurer as indicated in the newsletters.
Question: Why do I need to take all the trainings? I don't have time. Answer: Girl Scouts is a program for girls. All trainings are recommended to help leader learn new skills to teach the girls. Trainings are also a great time to network with other leaders, share ideas, and brainstorm new or fun things to do with your girls. We all struggle for time, but these trainings are important. Trainings also help leaders qualify for awards, and the troop for SUPER Troop!

Question: I don't have my "Cookie Mom Registration" form. Answer: Click below for a form (in Microsoft Word format) that you can fill out and email to Pat or Mary. (This updated form will return next year)
Question: Does my Cookie Mom have to be registered and why? Answer: Your cookie mom DOES have to be registered because she is handling the Girl Scout troop's money. She is, then, also covered by insurance. So if your Cookie Mom is not a registered Adult Girl Scout, please see Mary for a registration form. Some troops pay the Cookie Mom's registration fee and some do not, it is entirely up to your troop.
